As Vice president of Construction for Black Creek Mexico, Felipe oversees construction activities for all the Gran Ciudad and Alójica projects in Mexico ensuring timely and budget-compliant completions. Former partner and CEO of ADTec Consultores de Construcción, a leading Construction Management firm in Mexico, where he led numerous iconic projects such as the Torre Mayor, the Chivas Soccer Stadium and the Mexico Stock Exchange Building as well as dozens of hospitality and multifamily projects throughout Mexico, including Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Los Cabos and the Nizuc Resort and Spa in Cancun, Mexico. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Postgraduate Degree in Construction Administration from UNAM, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from La Salle University in Mexico City.

15+ years of construction and construction management experience with a strategic focus on lodging and hospitality. As Alojica’s Director of Construction, Angel works hand in hand with the design and development teams and is responsible for the timely execution of the Company’s new-build and renovation projects.  Former Director of Construction at Origina and Opera Desarrolladora.  Previously with Grupo Frel and Grupo Posadas. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.

10+ years of Commercial Real Estate and Portfolio Management & Valuation experience in Mexico and the US. Responsible for development project finance, planning and reporting for Alojica-managed investments.  Former investment professional at SKB, an American private equity firm, operator, and developer specializing in Urban Industrial and Suburban Mixed-Use commercial along the US West Coast market. Karina participated in the underwriting, acquisition, financing, and asset management of more than $2bn in assets. Previously an investment professional at The Aztec Fund, a Mexican private equity firm focused primarily on Class A office in the US. Former Treasury, Finance, Capital & Liquidity Analyst at Bank of America where she was responsible for Basel III compliance and treasury implementation. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from ITESM – Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

7+ years of Real Estate Development, Architecture, and Construction experience. As Director of Development, Alejandro oversees development efforts across Alójica’s portfolio. He has participated in a wide range of international projects across multiple disciplines, including luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and master planning. Former Sr. Development Manager at Shapack Partners, a Chicago-based multi-asset development company where he spearheaded the entitlement process for several properties, led the development of a +$140M USD luxury residential tower, and oversaw buildouts construction of +800,000 SF of a Class-A office + retail tower developed in partnership with Walton Street Capital. Previously, with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where he participated in the design of +1,000 units and the entitlements of a +53-acre mixed-use masterplan in the Chicago land area, among other significant projects. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Politécnica in Madrid, Spain, and a Master’s degree from Harvard University.

8+ years of Real Estate Development and Project Management experience. As Pre-development Project Manager for Alójica, Santiago is responsible for the development and financial oversight of Alojica’s Puerto Vallarta investment portfolio, working closely with Alójica’s asset management and hotel operations teams. Previously a Project Director at Vira and Project Manager at Abilia, managing several projects in all stages of development. Santiago holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.

8+ years of Real Estate Development and Project Management experience. As Development Project Manager, Jerónimo oversees the development of Alojica’s Cancún portfolio. Former Senior Development Analyst at Rodina, a leading Mexican family office, where he managed the development of multiple hotel investments in Mexico and the US. Previously a Project Director at Quierocasa and Business Development Manager at Hill International. Jerónimo holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from IE Business School in Madrid and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana.

18 years of construction and pre-construction experience with an emphasis in project costing, procurement, and administration. In her role as Pre-Construction Manager, Nydia ensures scope and cost alignment for the seamless execution of Alojica’s hospitality projects. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Tecnológica de México with a specialization in project management.

Sebastián is the backbone of the Development team, where he is responsible for budget planning, reporting and analysis for Alojica’s hotel portfolio. Previously, Sebastián worked as an Investment Banking Analyst, contributing to the execution of debt fundraising transactions totaling ~$50M. Holds a degree in Business Engineering from ITAM – Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

14+ years of construction planning and project execution experience with an emphasis on strategy and quality processes. Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and executing Alojica’s renovation projects. Focused on resource and asset management, risk mitigation, optimization, and efficiency to set operational and management priorities. Formerly with Aconsa y Asociados Consultores and Origina where he was in charge of directing the necessary resources for the execution of construction projects. Rodolfo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Autónoma de México.

In her role as Site Engineer for Alojica, Karen is responsible for project planning and execution.  She oversees construction schedules and project plans with a particular focus on risk mitigation. Former site coordinator for Kirbitan, responsible for finishes and FF&E installation at the One&Only Mandarina Private Homes. Previous Construction Manager and Site Coordinator for various lodging and resort residential projects in Jalisco and Nayarit.  Karen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Development, Sustainability, and Tourism from the University of Guadalajara.

As Design Coordinator for Alojica’s investment portfolio in Puerto Vallarta, Fabiana manages key brand and design stakeholders, coordinating design deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements.  Formerly with UNICEF Spain, The Ministry of Foreign Relations of Bolivia and the Lyceé Français of Santa Cruz. In her free time, she has also developed her own clothing brand.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree in International Cooperation.  She speaks Spanish, English and French.

20+ years of experience in Real Estate Project Management. As a civil engineer and Manager of Contract Administration specializing in project management, planning, and quality control systems, Erendira is responsible for project budget control and detailed contract administration for all Alojica-managed investments.  Previously Head of Contract Administration for Gran Ciudad, a Black Creek Mexico-sponsored company,  Erendira has participated in high-level projects across the country and managed investments from both foreign and national sources.

With extensive experience in Construction Management and Project Management, German specializes in process improvement and quality control to enable strategic decision-making. As Project Management Director at Grupo Constructor Okol, he managed projects in Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, overseeing work control, budgets, and financial reports. Previously, he served as Administration Director at GD Consultores and Administrative Director at Origina, having started his career at Frel Ingenieros y Arquitectos, where he oversaw hotel and commercial developments in Cancún, Cabo San Lucas, and Acapulco. German holds a degree in Architecture and is a master’s degree candidate in Construction Technology at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA).
